What is design?

Most people think of design as simply pretty pictures, an elegant typeface, slick layout, or maybe a trendy logo. Of course, all of these are important, but our concept of design is very different.

2AD, we design time, making schedule management a high priority. We design money, closely monitoring cost at every stage. We design production, carefully choreographing each step of the process. In other words, we “design” the entire project.

This is because we know that these factors are essential to a better total design and a more successful final product. And only a person who can handle each and every one of these individual elements with skill and creativity can truly be considered a “designer.”
